Return of Activity Books, 习字 and Mother Tongue Blue File
Published February 22, 2008 Announcement Leave a CommentDear Parents,
I have just returned the boys their Activity books, 习字 (Writing Exercise Book) and their Mother Tongue Blue files yesterday. All the revision worksheets are filed inside their blue file. The boys need not do anything in the worksheets or Acitivity books, they just need to do their self revision before they return the files and books to me again on Wednesday.
Please also note that few boys still failed to buy their Mother Tongue blue file. They can purchase the file from our school bookshop. I have also reminded these boys to jot down a reminder for themselves in their diary.
Up to date, they should have the following in their blue file:
- Assessment papers, 练习一,练习二
On Monday, they will also be receiving more worksheets which are to be filed in their blue files. I would like to seek your help in ensuring that your son do their filing before they return the files to me again on Wednesday.
Thank you very much for your kind attention.

Dear Parents,
after double checking with my HOD, the Creative E-Dictionary can still be used for examinations.
If you need anymore clarifications, feel free to let me know.
Thank you.
Dear Parents,
please be informed that the boys are allowed to use dictionary for their Chinese CA1 Paper 1. However, please also note that not all dictionary can be used. The dictionary should be a pure Chinese dictionary, without any English meaning included in the dictionary. The school’s bookshop does sell such Chinese dictionary, and you may purchase any Chinese dictionary from any book stores in Singapore.
Alternatively, you may purchase the Besta All Pass-1 E-Dictionary at is approved by Singapore Examination and Assessment Board. The retail price of this E-Dictionary is $49.90, and you get them at most of the Popular book stores. For more information, please click here. Please take note that only this model of E-Dictionary may be used in examination, other models of E-Dictionary are not allowed.
Thank you for your kind attention.
Dear Parents,
the above form was given out to the boys last month for your consent to have your son participate in this Conversational Malay Programme in school. However, there were very few replies from most of the parents. Hence, I would like to take this opportunity to talk a little more about this programme.
This programme is programme is totally non-examinable. The boys do not need to take any exams or tests for this course. However, the boys will be issued a certificate upon completion of the programme. The main aim of this programme is to expose the pupils to a third language. Moreover, this course focus mainly on conversation, meaning students get to learn how to converse in Malay with their friends.
The programme will be held in school on every Saturday, and it is totally FREE. The fees are totally paid for by MOE.
If you are interested, you can have your son get another form from me. Alternatively, you can print the form out from home by clicking on the form above. I understand that some parents have already indicated that they do not wish to participate in this programme previously, however, should you change your decision, you can pass to me a second form indicating that you allow your son to participate in this programme.
If you have anymore queries, feel free to let me know, or you may contact my colleagues through the emails or phone number indicated in the form.
Thank you very much for your kind attention. Hope to hear from your replies soon.
